Freight Forwarding Administrator

Do you love creating excellent customer experiences? Does your work experience show proven experience in the manufacturing industry? We are looking for a customer service specialist who will also serve as the prime contact for order related activities. The ideal candidate will be a cross departmental collaborator, it is important that you are able to balance customer and business needs. If you are up to handle customer coordination, inquiries, and problem resolutions - this is the perfect opportunity!

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain distribution networks including customer service; direct interaction with customers

  • Create and review plans and procedures, which will maximize customer satisfaction

  • Track/locate containers on a daily basis; railing, in port and on sea on steamship lines

  • Analyze and manage the volume of inbound shipments, which includes supporting and fixing supply chain issues, distributing delivery schedules with different motor carriers, and managing daily ETA and tracing report

  • Report and communicate of supply chain interruptions to internal and external accounts; publish the status of orders, shipping, and delivery reports

  • Meet urgent delivery request schedule between outbound logistics team and customers, manage required documents for customers

  • Increase revenue, and minimize logistic risks by close integration with inbound carriers

  • Provide outbound operation and customer service

  • Coordinate and monitor outbound booking status and ocean schedule to make sure customer?s shipments are on time schedule and notify customers if there are any issues such as vessel delays, customs exam, etc.

  • Manage outbound booking information and create bookings with multiple steamship lines based upon customer?s needs

  • Make arrangement between customers and truckers to meet the most convenient time for customers and provide tracking details

  • Administrative tasks, projects, contracts, etc.

  • Support and guide other team members to solve the operational issues

  • Prepare the supporting documents and coordinate with related party to settle the claims and other issues.

  • Provide general administrative support to manager and department.

  • Assist with projects and contracts.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

-SAP experience is a plus

-Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word

-Solid oral and written communication skills

-Organized and detail oriented

-Customer oriented

Education:

Bachelors

Experience:

Entry Level

Qualifications:

-Minimum 3-5 years customer service experience required.

-Bachelor's degree preferred.

-Fluent in English
