Ensure the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, inspection, storage and fulfillment of materials within assigned storage locations are completed accurately

Operations: Ensure the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, inspection, storage and fulfillment of materials within assigned storage locations are completed accurately. Ensure bin locations are maintained and materials are labeled appropriately. Perform audit shipments to assure quality and accuracy. Complete data entry and file records of received materials. Update and maintain training, inspection and compliance (ESD) records. Create, update, adhere to and enforce safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures. Work with internal customers and external suppliers as required, and communicate the needs of the workgroup. Ensure all communications are answered promptly, (within 24 hours) and accurately.
Continuous Improvement: Actively engage in the implementation and/or sustaining of a LEAN culture to maximize resources, minimize waste, and improve overall operational efficiencies in the end-to-end customer value stream. Ensure Quality Cost Delivery Safety People targets are met. Prepare for, participate in and comply with all internal and external audits and inspections.
Projects: Identify opportunities and successfully lead and/or participate on improvement projects (Kaizen, A3 or other). Projects should align and help support the overall business objectives.
Performance Feedback: Promptly inform management of all situations resulting in slow-downs, work stoppages or missed orders. Reinforce expectations set by management and provide information to management on employee performance as requested.
Working hours: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Experience: 5 or more years of experience in position or specialization. Education: High-school/Associates or equivalent experience if applicable. Certification if applicable. Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles. Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors. Receive, store, move and pack outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse.
You must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen to be eligible for this position.
