job summary:

This role will proactively respond to global records management needs of the business by supporting projects that critically evaluate and implement records management services. The incumbent will work with the Records and Information Management (RIM) Enterprise eArchives Lead to ensure adequate operational support regarding records management to the Global business in response to operational business needs.

responsibilities:

Working under direction of the Enterprise eArchives Lead and in collaboration with Legal Information Technology, the role will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise input, operational support, and improvement ideas/expertise for digital materials created by, given to, and divested from all business areas of client for long-term digital preservation including the creation of metadata records and for policies regarding the creation, storage, preservation, organization, description, and access to these materials. The role is responsible for following the eArchive process and ensuring all electronic data archival requests meet the expectations of Data Owners with guidance from the Enterprise eArchives Lead.

qualifications:

Experience:

At least 5 years proven work experience in project management. Pharmaceutical or Biotech Company required with preferred experience working with Information Management groups (Quality, R&D, CMC, Technical Operations). Familiarity/comfort with automated records management principles and systems, as well as other information technology systems. Industry experience in a regulated or legal environment and clear understanding of government regulatory requirements (i.e. GMP, GCP, and GLP) and a demonstrated understanding of the drug development process preferred.

  • Good understanding of electronic archiving processes and the Open Archival Information Systems (OAIS) model

  • Applies appropriate judgment and technical expertise to quickly resolve concerns or challenges that arise.

  • Interacts and communicates professionally with visitors, vendors and individuals at all levels of the organization

  • Provides quality output in the form of meeting minutes and any project correspondence

  • Supports process flow documentation, information analysis and other project management activities to enable project execution

  • Utilizes professional judgment when dealing and dispersing confidential information

  • Takes accountability for results

  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite especially Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Uses influence skills effectively to partner with others

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent planning and organizational skills are required

  • Familiarity with MicroFocus Structured Data Manager, Content Manager, and/or ControlPoint preferred
