CAD Designer Technician

Good Afternoon,

Are you an experienced CAD Engineer looking for your next career opportunity? Randstad is currently recruiting for CAD Engineer for a local gas company in the Cambridge area. The company is an industry leader for over 25 years provides leasing, sales, parts, and service of natural gas compression equipment in both standard and custom packages. CAD Engineer

Salary/Payrate: Negotiable; Based on experience

Schedule:

1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:00AM-3:30PM

Location: Cambridge, OH

Start Date: Immediate Start

Responsibilities:

Prepare dimensional drawings, installation drawings and more complex drawings.

Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes

Make corrections to the drawings as requested by senior staff

Review blueprints, plans, specifications and other customer documentation

Serve as information source on planning and design of equipment installations

Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (like drawings, bill of materials, list of design of design parameters, and performance guarantees) for future reference

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of third party items and services database

Make data available to other engineers, supervisors, and project managers

Establish filing guidelines for drawings to maintain up to date drawings

Collaborate with others to establish timelines and budgets, as well as solve problems

Knowledge of industry standards

Ability to analyze data and situation and develop creative solutions

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:

Utilize company software to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects

Skilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft Office Excellent communication skills: interpersonal, listening, oral, and written

Create and update database of design records

Able to generate layout drawings from sketches and specifications

Able to work with minimal supervision, efficiently schedule and manage time

Education:

High School

Experience:

Entry Level

Qualifications:

Associate's Degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, plus verified relatable work experience

Previous Experience with Solidworks (Preferred)
