Human Resources Assistant

Randstad is seeking a Human Resources Administrative Assistant for a temp-to-permanent opening in the Wando area. The hours of the position are 8am-5pm and the pay is $17-$18 an hour based on prior work experience.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will sit at the front desk in the Human Resources Department. You will assist walk-ins if needed with directing them to the appropriate team member or providing them with forms. Your position will involve a lot of data entry into the HRIS system. You will enter in changes of compensation, addresses, benefits and anything else that needs to be changed. You will be responsible for uploading paper documents into electronic files and labeling and storing appropriately. You will also assist with filing paper documents to be stored. You will assist the Director with pulling information to create reports for the department. You will also assist with sending out employee cards and event planning for employee events. The position will also involve assisting on a variety of projects as needed.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

*At least 3 years of Administration or HR Administration experience

*At least 3 years of experience working with confidential files and information

Associate's degree

*Intermediate MS Excel proficiency

*Prior experience maintaining HRIS systems

*Previous experience scanning and electronically filing documents

*Excellent attention to detail

*Ability to handle interruptions and shift tasks without becoming flustered
