Purchase Order Specialist

job summary:

Description:

Support the supplier risk assessment process for new and existing suppliers by:

  1. working with Procurement to ensure timely receipt of information and response to Client questionnaires from key stakeholders including the suppliers and Client business requestors,

  2. working with various Supplier Risk Management subject matter specialists in charge of developing remediation actions to ensure timely resolution of identified issues,

  3. complete and/or review required forms and documentation, and

  4. prepare reports and assist in continuous process improvement.

Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 2

Knowledge Preferred: Experience in Procurement is a plus

Skills Preferred:

  • Ability to multitask and maintain composure under pressure: need to handle multiple supplier requests while managing impatient requestors

  • Able to follow the instruction

  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to process enhancement: will be working with a newly developed process.

FLEXIBLE LOCATION: Tampa, FL is preferred, however, Florham Park, NJ is also acceptable
