Accounts Receivable Specialist - Gaffney, SC

  • This is 1 contract role expected to last 1 year.

Accounts Receivable Specialist - Job Duties:

  • Under general supervision may prepare journal entries, monthly financial statements, monthly reports on operating expenses or perform general ledger analysis.

  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and notify appropriate personnel to prevent future occurrence.

  • Work closely with the controlling and AR team to support the Accounting Department.

  • May perform special investigations or work on projects of a special nature.

  • Ad Hoc assignments from CFO and Controller

Job Responsibilities:

  • Excellent Excel skills pivot tables, Vlookups

  • AccountingFinance/Economics Degree from Accredited Well Known Universities

  • 1-3 years' experience in manufacturing, or other large for profit organization

  • Variance reporting and planning

  • Someone that is high energy and self-motivated

  • Financial Statement Preparation

  • Documentation of work procedures and other internal policy documents

  • Someone that is very intelligent and can learn quickly

  • Strong cognitive and analytical skills

  • Can Do/positive attitude

  • Agile and flexible able to move from one assignment to another quickly
