Are you looking for a good long term opportunity that gives you weekends off? Randstad's premier staffing agency is now recruiting for a 2nd shift Laborer for the west Knoxville area that would start at $12.00 hr. With this position you will be responsible for assisting with basic warehouse duties and assembly of products.
Assists the shop lead with basic duties such as assembly, grinding , general purposes
Use blueprints and design sketches to ensure the proper dimensions and tolerance levels of the finished product.
Able to Maintain a clean work area and able to maintain and follow the 5s criteria
Maintains continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Help move materials in warehouse
Other duties assigned by management
Working hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to bend or stand as necessary and operate various tools
Ability to work in a loud environment
Proficient verbal and written skills
Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Ability to follow direction with a great attention to detail
High School Diploma or GED
Mechanical skills preferred
Previous warehouse experience preferred
6 months of recent work history
2 positive work references
Great attendance record
Excellent work ethic
