Forklift Operator

Randstad Lithia Springs is seeking quality forklift operators for temp to hire positions in the Austell area. Dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination are key in this role. Candidates need to display attention to safety precautions and common sense as well as the ability to maintain concentration over along period of time. Candidates with a strong sense of balance are preferred.

Responsibilities:

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift to stack and relocate material. The candidate is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform other duties as assigned. Typical additional duties may include but are not limited to checking inventory, executing product counts, weighing and tagging products, using a bar code scanner, using a shrink wrapper, loading/unloading trucks, light cleaning of the warehouse and data entry.

Working hours: 6:00 PM - 8:00 AM

Skills:

-Operate Stand Up Reach and Cherry Picker Forklifts

-Strong attention to detail and accuracy

-Provide TWO Positive References

Qualifications:

-Ability to work 6pm to Finish Shift (Typically 50-60 hour+ a week)

-Minimum 6 months Forklift Operating experience

-Flexibility to work in different environments
