Junior Facilities Space Planner/Interior Designer

Do you have solid organizational and time management skills? Are you self-motivated and team oriented? Are you ready to hit the ground running in your new career? A commercial property management company in Baltimore County is looking to hire a permanent, full-time Junior Facilities Space Planner/Interior Designer which responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Space planning and drafting of basic construction sets using AutoCAD

  • Prepare and revise CAD drawings

  • Collaborate with commercial construction and leasing teams across international portfolio

  • On-site verification measurements

  • Interfacing with client

  • Execute basic construction documents including, Reflective Ceiling Plan, Construction Plan, Finishes and Fixture Schedule, etc.

  • Assist with specs

  • Organize current drawings

  • Execute standards, practices and procedures

  • Works closely with others to plan space layout which includes furniture, equipment, telecommunications or other pertinent needs

  • Assist and collaborate with Senior Designers

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM


  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD

  • Self-educating and problem-solving to complete new tasks

  • Basic knowledge in producing construction documents

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Ability to multi-task and manage several projects at once

  • Basic knowledge of architectural design process

  • Strong work ethic

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign






  • Education in either architecture, interior design and/or environmental design

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts and/or Design or related field

  • Familiarity with basic space planning principles

  • Familiarity with BOMA

  • Knowledge of local vendors

  • 1-2 years of Space Planning/Design is a plus
