The External Financial Reporting Senior Consultant will support the Data Collection Management team which is responsible for managing the process used to aggregate and process 14 M and 14Q data for data quality validation as required for regulatory reporting. In this role, the person would also be responsible in identifying critical data issues that could lead to errors in regulatory reporting.

  • 14M and Q - Edit Logic Development in SAS environment

  • 14M - Address code changes requested by RO team

  • 14M Monthly and 14Q Quarterly production run and analysis support

  • Run necessary maintenance and preparation tasks prior and after monthly and quarterly production periods to ensure successful production completion.

  • Perform Peer review as COSO control for SAS validation

This job may utilize stochastic, structured securities, option adjusted spread analyses,etc. and has expertise on the theory and mathematics behind the analyses.


This job requires extensive knowledge of the financial products and/or portfolios assigned and the ability to schedule and run the analyses, inclusive of technical, audit, accounting, and market perspectives, identifying structure and scope of review.

Needs to have an inherent, multi-dimensional understanding of cash flow and risk sharing agreements.

Staff are heavily technically and quantitatively oriented

May directly manage 1-2 team members.

6-8 years of experience OR Masters degree

Bachelor's degree plus sufficient experience doing the work
