R&D Technician

job summary:

  • Primary responsibility will be to operate as a parts room technician under the guidance of management and the senior technician.

  • In this role the individual will assist in the cleaning and preparation of parts for sterilization for entry into the Aseptic Processing Area.

  • This will involve inspecting processing parts for any non-typical wear or damage, replacement and release of parts for use after careful inspection

responsibilities:

  • Operates general manufacturing equipment under in accordance with current GMPs or standardized procedures and within safety guidelines.

  • Requires good documentation skills and attention to detail. Operates with minimal supervision.

  • May participate in plant trials for evaluating process modifications.

  • Troubleshoots processing problems.

  • Demonstrated ability in the application of requisite skills and applies additional skills and knowledge acquired through experience to perform the more complex tasks of the position.

  • Generally receives no instructions on routine assignments while under little or no supervision.

qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Associates or Vocational Degree in a mechanical or electro-mechanical area or the pursuit of one required.

  • A basic experience in a technical field or position preferred.

  • Computer literate.

  • Ability to use inspection tools both visual and the use of mechanical measurement tools.

  • Experience: 0 to 3 years.
