Administrative Assistant

Our client is a leader in the agricultural industry with their division headquarters in Creve Coeur . They are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to support their North America Global Trade team maintain proper documentation and meet stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

With minimal supervision, perform administrative functions in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, goals and objectives

Ability to multitask and re-prioritize during the work day

Ensure documents and certificates are organized and maintained for easy retrieval

Perform file audits ensuring electronic files are complete with necessary trade documents

Perform financial reconciliations for international shipments

Run monthly reports for Global Trade Manager

Provide reporting and analytical support for trade team initiatives as necessary

Help prepare training documentation

Maintain Standard Operating Procedures for NA Global Trade team

Act as the department SharePoint team site administrator

Team mailbox administration

Manage team meeting notes

Performs other tasks as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

High school diploma or GED with 4+ years administrative support experience

Ability to read and write English with excellent verbal and written (via correspondence/email) communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (with emphasis in Excel and Word) and strong computer skills

Desired Skills and Experience:

Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Manufacturing, or International Commerce along with experience as an administrative assistant

SAP knowledge

Experience with agricultural and/or chemical products

This is a 12+month temporary/contract assignment. It is 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, standard business hours. There is an onsite cafeteria, 24/7 security, onsite fitness center and walking paths.
