UR Marketing and Communications Specialist supporting Cisco

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic communication plan to create interest and awareness of Cisco through candidate communications, career website, campus events, social media, videos, and recruitment collateral.

  • Plan and implement a recruitment marketing and employer branding strategy to attract high-quality applicants. Help define touch points and best communication opportunities in the candidate life-cycle.

  • Communicate and showcase Cisco’s employee value proposition, culture, mission, and work environment to prospective candidates and employees.

  • Plan and manage recruitment media campaigns and newsletters

  • Data Analytics ROI - track, measure and report on results

  • Design internal campaigns to drive employee referrals/ employee engagement.

  • Oversee UR career page and suggest improvements andmanage the content calendar, produce and coordinate content for careers website

  • Create engaging content to share across multiple channels (Campus Event, Cisco Events, social media, email, etc.) including blog features, photos, videos, print collateral, event properties and communication templates

  • Generate monthly updates for global business leadership, Talent Acquisition and HR regarding upcoming recruitment initiatives

  • Work closely with global University Recruiting leads to develop creative ways for addressing recruitment challenges and suggest new ideas for improving candidate experience and engagement.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing and communications experience

  • Prefer previous staffing and recruiting experience in University recruitment

  • Previous and proven experience working with cross functional teams

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint

  • Preferred Location: San Jose, CA; Secondary Location: RTP, NC
