job summary:

This is a Direct Hire Controller position with a fast growing company in New Hampshire.

The Controller will be responsible for all accounting and finance functions and strengthening the department.

This dynamic, up and coming company is looking for a knowledgeable, self motivated professional to join their team and make a positive impact.

The Controller will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate fiscal closes and financial reports, maintaining systems, create/implement controls, lead budget process, ensure adherence to appropriate guideline and regulations .


  • Oversee and streamline month end close, provide detailed financial reports

  • Budget and forecasting processes

  • Develop, implement policies & procedures

  • Design efficient accounting/finance department

  • Responsible for the soup to nuts accounting including AP, AR, GL maintenance, reconciliations, journal entries, month end close and financial statement prep and analysis

  • Develop and monitor KPIs

  • Analyze and report variances in budget to actuals

  • Partner, support senior executives and guide them in their decision making process (help them understand financial impact of their decisions)

  • Coordinate audits


The ideal profile is:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration

  • 8+ years of relevant and progressive experience

  • CPA preferred

  • Prior staff management experience (ability to hire, train, motivate)

  • Must be willing and able to be hands on.

  • Previous experience in a smaller, but growing expanding company is highly desirable
