Accounts Payable Clerk

We are currently looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a fast-paced spirits company in the Syosset NY area

Will support all aspects of accounts payable, ensuring that all deadlines are met with the highest degree of accuracy

Responsibilities:

--Manages all incoming invoices, from both the post office and email

--Reviews all overhead invoices for appropriate documentation and interfaces with appropriate departments to secure approval

--Analyze differences between purchase orders and invoices, following up with Portfolio Managers, vendors and Logistics Department for any discrepancies

--Posts all invoices and expense reports with correct general ledger and department codes into the ledger in a timely and accurate manner

--Processes weekly check run and attaches corresponding invoices and related support

--Posts all wire transfers and ACH payments in both domestic and foreign currencies

--Responds to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses and check requests

--Prepares, posts and sends vendor chargebacks as necessary

--Reconciles vendor statements to account payable ledger detail

--Maintains all accounts payable files and archives

--Assists with related special projects as required

--Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Working hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Qualifications:

--4 year college degree with a focus on business administration

--3+ years of accounts payable experience, manufacturing and/or distributing industry experience is a PLUS

--Multi-currency experience a PLUS

--Experience working in a multi legal entity corporation structure is a PLUS

--Strong computer skills required, Microsoft Dynamics Navision and Concur are a PLUS
