Onboarding Project Coordinator

job summary:

As the Onboarding Project Coordinator, you will ensure that onboarding class delivery and execution enjoy a smooth process and all details are executed without issues.

Aspects of this position will include moving equipment (laptops, etc) from storage and carrying classroom supplies. **You must have the ability to lift 25 lbs.

You will work closely with the Instructor/ Program Manager to prepare for onboarding classes. You will perform various coordinating tasks, like maintaining project documentation, coordinating logistics, handling financial queries scheduling vendors or internal meetings. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you'll collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver results on deadlines.

Ultimately, the Project Coordinator's duties are to ensure that onboarding class delivery and execution enjoy a smooth process and all details are executed without issues.

responsibilities:

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information

  • Break projects into doable actions and set timeframes

  • Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status

  • Work with the Instructor/Program Manager to eliminate blockers

  • Ensure standards and requirements are met through conducting quality assurance tests

  • Maintain up to date, necessary documentation for all projects

  • Managing deliveries of laptops and taking inventory of assets

  • Lifting laptop boxes and storing them in secure area

  • Delivering laptops to onboarding classroom

  • Be present in classroom and assist students and instructor, when needed

  • Communicate and coordinate guest speaker schedules for classes

qualifications:

  • MUST: Laser focus attention to detail

  • Good communication skills

  • Attentive to others / good collaborator

  • Responsive to request and dependable

  • Ability to work simple spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel

  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs

  • Ability to move equipment (laptops) from storage and bring to classroom

  • Assist with classroom coordination such as preparing welcome bags, letting food vendor in to set up food, assist with other small task

  • Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player

  • Working knowledge of MS Products (excel, outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Comfortable working via webex and phone with Cary based team
