*Shifts and hours for this position may vary. Below is a summary of shifts & hours:
-1st: 7am - 3pm
-2nd: 3pm - 11PM
*This opportunity requires a flexible work schedule as you may train on 1st shift and be moved to a different shift depending on the needs of production.
As a forklift operator, you will drive a sit-down powered industrial truck with a hydraulic mechanism to lift and move heavy goods. In a fast paced manufacturing warehouse, you will perform tasks associated with moving goods from one place to another. You might load and unload trucks or be asked to supply production areas with product or remove finished goods to a warehouse storage area.
You may also inspect lifts before use and participate in training sessions for license renewal. We also need you to check inventory, execute product counts, and weigh or tag products.
Other tasks could involve wrapping loads with a shrink wrapper, loading goods onto and off a truck, and light cleaning of the warehouse.
Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
--Operating a forklift to maneuver through the warehouse to move products.
--Adhering to quality standards set forth by the company.
--Inspecting and performing maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment.
--Identifying safety hazards in the workplace.
--Maintaining concentration over a long period of time.
--Completing and passing forklift requirements as directed by OSHA.
-At least 6 months verifiable forklift experience in the last 18 months.
-Complete a powered industrial truck safety training and quiz.
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and sense of balance.
-Dexterity, hand-eye coordination with attention to detail and accuracy.
-Have 6+ months continuous employment in manufacturing environment -- or 2 years of continuous employment in any industry preferred.
-Be willing to submit to a background and drug screen and
-Be flexible and willing to work mandatory overtime, as needed.

-Demonstrate basic reasoning, mathematical, and language skills.
-Be able to read a tape measure.
-Be able to work in environment that is not climate controlled (hot/cold).
