Construction Site Foreman

We are offering an exciting opportunity to work for a company with technology developed for NASA's Mars program. We seek your experience in this highly technical field as we revolutionize clean energy. Together we will dramatically change the way that the world's energy is produced, distributed and consumed.

We are seeking a Construction Site Foreman to supervise installations projects of power servers for commercial and industrial sites.

Responsibilities:

-Onsite management of installation projects.

-Work with subcontractors, Superintendent, and Construction Manager (CM) to coordinate, plan, distribute, and execute work to meet the schedule milestones.

-Collect, prepare, and distribute daily reports.

-Ensure that the customers have 100% customer satisfaction with the with the construction and installation process.

-Review plans and propose value engineering options.

-Ensure compliance of all safety, and performance metrics during site construction for Bloom Energy personnel and subcontractors.

-Coordinate final utility interconnections and utility inspections

-Extensive travel within the region is required; may require some travel outside of region.

Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

-Industrial electrical experience required.

-Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction: Including technology, equipment, methods, cost control methods, and safety requirements

-Must possess a highly motivated personality and a strong ability to work in a team environment with a customer service focus

-Well-developed and professional interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization, as well as outside customers, utility and governmental personnel

-Must be able to read and interpret electrical single line diagrams and blueprints

-Proficiency in MS Office Suite

-Familiarity with building/mechanical/electrical codes (NEC, NFPA) required

-Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk around the construction site

-Ability to lift 50 lbs.

-Experience working for a demolition, underground utility, grading, paving, concrete, electrical, plumbing or general contractor.

-Ability to work overtime.

Qualifications:

-1-2 years of related experience

-Background in facilities, power systems, and grid interconnection

-Knowledge in Construction Safety Order (CSO) standards, including permit-required confined space entry, excavation, trenching, and soil mechanics, electrical standards, lockout tagout, fall protection, and heat illness prevention requirements

-CPR, First Aid, AED certified

-OSHPD experience preferred but not required
