Legal Administrative Assistant

A large law firm in Wilmington, DE has an opening for a temporary to permanent Legal Administrative Assistant. This is a full time position and the hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm. This position will support all departments with administrative tasks including e-filing, document preparation, proofreading, and transcribing dictations.

Responsibilities:

-Document preparation, including formatting and editing

-Proofreading

-Transcribing dictations

-Data entry into litigation support database systems

Working hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Skills:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently, and to work well under pressure in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.

Qualifications:

-At least 2 years experience in a legal administrative role

-Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

-Familiarity with document management system preferred but not required

-Understanding of legal terminology and related court documents

-Ability to type 65-70 WPM
